Provera is a progestin hormone used to treat menstrual periods that have stopped, abnormal uterine bleeding and to reduce the chances of getting uterine cancer. May be taken with or without food. Each tablet contains 10 mg of medroxyprogesterone acetate. Interaction with aminoglutethimide.
